MATH OLYMPICS

On Friday, March 27th, Bethany Christian Academy's top Mathametician's participated in the ACSI District Math Olympics.  The event was held at Harbor Church School in Lomita.  After taking many tests in the areas of reasoning and computation; ten BCA students brought home top awards.  Bryant Nguyen received 5th place in computation for 4th grade.  In the 5th Grade reasoning category Ryan Parker placed 1st and Connar Tunnicliff placed 3rd.  Another fifth grader, Alexis Kauwe, received 5th place in computation.  In the 7th grade reasoning category Cassie Chiang placed 1st and Sara Walton placed 3rd.  7th grader Aline Nguyen placed 3rd in computation.  In the 8th grade computation category Eric Luu placed 1st and Brooke Cowan placed 2nd.  8th grader Jake Hargett placed 5th in the reasoning category.
