About Mrs. Fero

Mrs. Fero has taught school for fourteen years.  She was our First grade teacher for nine years, and is now our Kindergarten teacher for the second year!

Your child will need to

bring the following: 

• A large size Backpack - (no Pokemen, WWF, or other inappropriate slogans) needs to fold easily.
• 1  Beach-size towel or 1 small crib-size blanket - no pillows or sleeping bags
• A snack each day for snack time (we suggest nutritious snacks such as: fruit, cheese and crackers, etc.)
• Two boxes of Kleenex
• Two Pee-Chee type folder with pockets.
• A comfortable pair of earphones for computer class

Welcome to Kindergarten

Dear Parent,

Welcome!  This year your child will participate in many different types of learning experiences.  These experiences will be in the areas of reading readiness, math, language, science, social studies, social and motor development and Bible.

The activities experienced at school this year will become a part of your child's total experience at home and at school.  For this reason your thoughts and suggestions are always welcome.  Please feel free to share them.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be a mandatory Orientation Meeting for parents, in the Fellowship Hall, on Monday, August 31 at 7:00 pm.

Students in K-5 are not required to attend, but are welcome.  Children must remain with their parents at all times.  There is no childcare.  Junior High students (6th-8th) are required to attend the orientation meeting with a parent.

We will be having Kindergarten Visitation on Friday, September 4, from 12:00 - 2:00 pm.  You may bring your child to meet me and to see the classroom.

The first day of school is Wednesday, Sept. 9.
